PREP will conduct a series of workshops as well as an optional clinic to give you the tools to become a better advocate and to resolve the important issues that affect your child’s education.

Location: Porter Elementary School (North Campus), 445 S 47^th Street, San Diego CA 92113

Promoting Student Success through Parent Engagement Training:

Time:  Registration: 9:00 – 9:30 a.m.

      Training: 9:30 a.m.-2:15 p.m.

              Learn about:  

•  
  • How to be a better advocate for your child
  • The best way to solve problems
  • What are the important issues affecting your child’s education and what YOU can do

Optional Educational Consultation Clinic:

Sign up for an appointment at 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.

At the clinic, parents who register for a special one hour appointment will be able to: 

• Meet with a volunteer advocate for an hour to discusstheir child’s educational needs
• Ask volunteer advocates about questions regarding theirchild’s education
• Create an action plan to support their child’s success
