STATE PARENT INFORMATION RESOURCE CENTERS
- General
The Ohio Parent Information and Resource Center (“PIRC”) is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Innovation and Improvement. Its mission is to empower all parents and families by providing information, resources and training to support children’s learning and enhance the environments in which they grow.
As mandated by the No Child Left Behind Act, Ohio PIRC provides information and resources to support:
- Parental involvement;
- Educational success;
- Family advocacy; and
- Community collaboration.
